This isn't my own idea, but I thought I would post it here, since it is very useful.
Taken from Miserly Moms, buy whole milk and cutting it with water. (1/2 gallon of water + 1/2 gallon of milk will give you a taste like 1% milk. 1/4 gallon Water + 1/2 gallon of milk would be closer to 2%)

Seventh Generation Cleaning Products
I remember when these came out. I was a young teenager, and I was soo not into being green or frugal. I wanted to have the stuff most families had. Anyways, I was browsing my local Walgreens about a year back and saw their products in the store and was shocked in a very good way!
I started this blog, and I've added Google AdSense in an attempt to make a little money to help my family. To my surprise, one of the ads was for Coupons for Seventh Generation! Woo!

They had great Deals today as well. They Just opened up recently, and I want to encourage people to go there and hopefully they can keep prices low.

Welcome
Hello, this is my new blog, I'm trying to live a more Frugal & Green life. Growing up, we lived pretty frugally and green! This time around I am glad to see I am not the only one who is having to live like this. Due to the economy, people have gone back to a more frugal life, and part of that is reusing which also leads to a greener life. I am so glad I see more people using recycled bags. Saying No to plastic bags. (It's such an easy thing to do that really does help)
